Viante New Mexico

State Scorecard

Viante chooses 15 state bills to focus on for each session. Then they score based on the legislators attendance, voting position, and other factors.

They have gained a lot of traction these past two years. Our scorecard, along with their organization, has been featured on the news, on Sante Fe Public radio, and podcasts.

Rio Grande Foundation

State Scorecard with Lifetime Scoring

The Rio Grande Foundation is a research institute dedicated to increasing liberty and prosperity for all of New Mexico’s citizens. They do this by informing New Mexicans of the importance of individual freedom, limited government, and economic opportunity.

Even though they’ve had a significant impact on New Mexico politics and policy, they started using our scorecard as a means to get information out more quickly.

They’re using our multi-year state government scorecard, which enables multiple years at the top of a legislator’s page and calculates a lifetime score for each legislator. View Representative Jason Harper for an example.

Forward Kentucky

State Scorecard

Forward Kentucky is a progressive media operation whose focus is on Kentucky politics, politicians, and policies, with the goal of helping their state move forward and be all that it can be.

The Founder, Bruce Maples, says, “the scorecard ended up being really fun and people enjoyed it. It’s a very effective tool.”

This was apparent in Kentucky’s recent governor primary, since our scorecard was used against the incumbent’s challenger and the incumbent won.


National Parks Action Fund

Congressional Scorecard with Lifetime Scoring

As the 501(c)(4) affiliate of the National Parks Conservation Association, NPAF is nationally recognized for promoting legislation that protects our national parks.

They use their scorecard to monitor key votes concerning park funding, oil and gas development near parks, cabinet nominations, and protections for water and wildlife.

Notable Mentions

This scorecard has been featured by on Facebook hundreds of times, including by Sen. Bob Menendez, New Jersey; Rep. Al Lawson, Jr.; Congressman John Sarbanes, Maryland; and Senator Jacky Rosen, Nevada.

It’s also featured on Congresswoman Joyce Beatty’s website at beatty.house.gov, in press releases, and other media.

Award Nomination

Natalie Levine and Bev Stanton were nominated for a 2021 Women in Government Relations (WGR) award due to her work on this scorecard. The nomination is in the Federal Issue Campaign category for “An effort wherein the advocate(s) successfully impacted the outcome of a federal legislative or regulatory problem or opportunity on behalf of their cause, issue, client, organization or coalition.

WGR is a non-partisan professional society for those who have responsibilities and interests in the field of government relations and/or public affairs.

ACLU Pennsylvania

State Scorecard with Lifetime Scoring

Founded in 1920, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to defending and protecting individual rights and personal freedoms.

While they diligently track hundreds of bills per year, they use our scorecard software to bring visibility to how legislators are voting on their top 50 bills.

They’re using our multi-year with lifetime scoring feature. To view, go to their scorecard and click a legislator like Rep. Greg Vitali. You’ll see tabs for each session.

Notable Mentions

Rep. Chris Rabb released a press release about his values and ranking in the scorecard.

Then, The Philadelphia Tribune also wrote an article showcasing Rep. Chris Rabb as having the highest Civil Rights voting record.

Women in Government Relations Award Nomination

Elizabeth Randol, Legislator Director, was nominated for a 2021 Women in Government Relations (WGR) award due to her work on this scorecard. Americans for Prosperity is dedicated to the belief that every person has a unique set of gifts and the ability to contribute to society in their own way, an idea that has inspired progress since our country’s founding.

Battle Born Progress

State Scorecard

As the Nevada state partner organization of ProgressNow, Battle Born Progress is a 501(c)4 organization advocating for a progressive state legislature. Their 20,000 members plus the general public uses our scorecard to track how legislators vote on issues important to them.

This scorecard changed my life. It used to take a substantial amount of time to create our scorecard. This year, I was able to turn our entire scorecard around in 12 hours. You’re the reason I have extra time now. It’s absolutely fabulous.

The OCPA has advocated for a free market for the past 25 years. Their legislative scorecard is an effort to inform Oklahoma citizens how their state legislators voted at the state Capitol on issues related to free markets, limited government, individual initiative, and personal responsibility.
