We used our Legislative Scoring Engine™ to accommodate their custom scoring formula. We gave them various scenarios to think about and landed on the formula that’s best for them. We were also able to ensure that if a bill has no vote, we’re still able to give the legislator credit for their sponsorship or cosponsorship. That’s major in an industry where many bills are introduced, but not voted on.
We met the timeline for their annual IAFF U.S. Legislative Conference, where they released the scorecard to the public.

They received really positive feedback at their U.S. Legislative Conference and decided to add on scorecards for additional sessions afterwards.

“With the launch of our new legislative scorecard, our members can now see who truly supports us on Capitol Hill – not just with their rhetoric but with their votes.”
